When I started this journal, I was a 20 year old college sophomore at the University of Minnesota, Morris. In the years that followed, I went to the March on Washington, studied abroad in Cork, Ireland. I had a few good jobs, and many bad ones, and decided to go to grad school. I graduated from college in May 2006, moved into my own apartment, and learned to negotiate the so-called "real world." These days, I am working on a master's degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Wisconsin, with an eye toward working with children in a public library.
